Kolačići sa soljenim kuvanim žumancem * Salted egg yolk cookies

Ja jako mnogo čitam o hrani.Naravno pored toga što me interesuje šta se sve tako jede po svetu, čitam i razne informacije o namirnicima .Obožavam pijace ..bilo gde i bilo kad , samo ako mi se ukaže prilika. Posedujem zavidnu zbirku kuvara od kojih je samo nekoliko ,koje sam lično kupila i to u antilvarnicama, jer me i to interesuje ..kako su se ljudi nekada hranili. Sve ostale kuvare dobila sam na poklon za neki svečan praznik. To i razne alatke za kuhinju. Mojim prijateljima i porodici tako lako kupiti poklon, jer znaju da ću se obradovati. Moj favorit medju zbirkama kuvara je svakako
Ciganska kuća , Roald Dahla, gde on opisuje svoj letnji odmor sa porodicom u CIganskoj kući.Tako su zvali svoju kuću za odmor. Svake godine imali su kuvara iz druge zemlje i Roald Dahl je svojim svima poznatim stilom izbirao svoje najrecepte svakog od kuvara i uz to naravno idu i njegovi crteži i priča oko svega toga.



Uh udaljih se od teme ovog mi recepta.Njega sam pronašla na netu gde pratim mnoge blogove iz celoga sveta. Zaintrigirala me je ideja pa sam napravila ove jednostavne kolačiće. Najviše me je naravno interesovao ukus.I.. mogu vam reći da ako volite te slano slatke kombinacije , ovo je prava stvar!


Sastojci

85 g putera
40 g šećera
2 kuvana ( 5m minuta ), žumanca, izmrvljena dok su još topla
125 g brašna
10 g gustina
1/8 kašičice praška za pecivo
1 žumance , umućeno
prstohvat soli
susam za posipanje




Priprema

 1. Prosejemo brašno. gustin i prašak za pecivo
2. Umutimo puter , prstohavt soli i šećer u kremastu masu
3. Umešamo prosejano brašno i dodamo i izmrvljena žumanca
4. Formiramo testo od mrvica
5. Zamotamo u plastičnu foliju i ostavimo u frižideru najmanje 30 minuta
6. Stavimo testo medju dva dela plastične folije i razvlačimo oklagijom do 5 mm debljine. Kalupima  izvadimo kolačiće
7. Premažemo umućenim žumancem i pospemo susamom



8. Pečemo u predgrejanoj rerni na  175 stepeni C, oko 10 do 12 minuta , dok porumene.
9. Izvadomo na žicu i pustimo da se ohlade
Dovoljno za oko 34 kolačića

Salted egg yolk cookies

I love eveything about food. Interested what peopel use and cookaround teh world. I have an amazing collection of cookbooks thanks to my family and friends who always goft me those. I also liek to look at op shops and antique book stores looking for unusal cook books.đMz favorite one is Gzpsy House from Roald Dahl.Collection of recišps from the Gipsy House (Dahl went for holidays with his Family there every summer).Thez had every year Chef from another country. He shose to publish his favorite of everyone of them.Of course with falir and illustration we all know if not different from his childrens books.



This recipe I found on the net. What intrigued me was  the salty egg yolk. I was just so curious what it would taste like.

Well here you go.If you like sweet salty combination you will love it

Ingredients
  • 85 gm butter
  • 40 gm caster sugar
  • 2 salted egg yolks, steamed for 5 mins and mashed while still hot
  • 125 gm plain flour
  • 10 gm cornflour
  • 1/8 tsp baking powder
  • 1 egg yolk, lightly beaten
  • a pinch of salt
  • Sesame seeds to sprinkle

Create
  1. Sift the flour, cornflour and baking powder
  2. Cream butter, sugar and pinch of salt till light and fluffy
  3. Fold in the sifted flour and add in the mashed egg yolks.
  4. Using a spatula, gather the crumbs to form a soft dough.
  5. Wrap with cling wrap and chill in the fridge for about 30 mins. or more.
  6. In between 2 sheets of plastic, roll out dough to 5 mm thick and cut out the cookies with cookie cutters.
  7. Brush the cookies with egg yolk wash and sprinkle on some sesame seeds.
  8. Bake cookies in a preheated oven @ 175 to 180 deg. C, for about 10 to 12 mins. till golden brown.
  9. Transfer the cookies onto a wire rack to cool completely before storing them in an airtight cookie jar.
  10. Yield :  34 cookies
