Holandski kolač od jabuka * Dutch Apple Pie

Jedan od mojih omiljenih kolača sa jabukama. Sa umućenom pavlakom kao dodatak i dok je još vruć ima fantastičan ukus.

Sastojci



za testo:

2 ½ šolje brašna
250 g maslaca
½ šolje šećera
3 jaja (podeljena)

za punjenje:

6-8 jabuka
1 šolja suvog groždja (natopljena rumom)
1 šolja šećera
1 kašičica ekstrakta vanilije
2 kašičice cimeta


Priprema

Zagrejte rernu na 180 stepeni Celzija
Umešamo brašno, maslac, šećer i 2 ½ jaja (treba  vam  ½ jaje za premazivanje). Staviti na stranu.
Oljuštite  jabuke i isecite na komade. Pomešajte komadiće sa  suvim grožđjem, šećerom i cimetom.
Uspete ¾ testa u okrugli namačćen pleh sa dnom koje se vadi.
Dodajte  jabuke i  blago pritisnite .
Preostalo testo upotrebite za čipkanje kolača i upotrebite ostatak pola jaja za premazivanje.


Mrežu na kolaču napravite tako što isečete tanke štrafte od preostalog testa pa ih naredjate uzduž i popreko.
Pecite kolač od jabuka u zagrejanoj rerni 50 minuta dok ne postane zlatno smeđ.
Poslužite s šlagom ili pospite šećerom u prahu.

Dutch Apple Pie



One of my favorite apple pies. Best served warm with a dollop of whipped cream on side or sprinkle with icing sugar

Create

    for the dough:
  • 2 ½ cup flour
  • 250 g butter
  • ½ heaped cup sugar
  • 3 eggs (divided)
  • for the filling:
  • 6-8 apples (I had 7)
  • 1 cup of raisins (soaked in rum)
  • 1 Tbsp sugar
  • 1 Tbsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • springform 
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 360 degrees F and butter the springform.
  2. Make a dough by mixing the flour, butter, sugar and 2 ½ eggs (you need a ½ egg for brushing). Set aside.
  3. Peel and core the apples and cut them into 0.5-inch pieces. Mix the pieces with the raisins, sugar, and cinnamon.
  4. Roll out ¾ of the dough and transfer that to a buttered springform.
  5. Add the apple filling and press that down.
  6. Use the remaining dough to lace the cake and use the remaining half egg for brushing.
  7. Bake the apple pie in the preheated oven for 50 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Serve with whipped cream.
