Danski lisnati sa breskvom *Danish Pastry with peaches

Po imenu se može pomilsliti da je ovo Danska poslastica. Donekle je to tačno ali ne sasvim. Prvi su je u Danskoj napravili Austrijski pekari,koji su došli  1850 godine,da zamene u pekarama danske kolege, koje su štrajkovale. Austrijanci nisu znali recept kako to Danci prave, pa su sami kreirali .Kada su se danski pekari vratili na posao, svidela im se nova kreacija i tako je ostalo do današnjeg dana

Sastojci
Poširane breskve

3 Breskve,poširane i prepolovljene
1 štapić vanile, izvadjeno seme
20 grama šečera
1 Kašika limunskog soka

 Vanila puding

2 žumanca
100 ml pavlake
1 Kašika gustina
1 kašičica vanila ekstrakta

Za Deniš

Gotovo lisnato testo
3 Kašike džema po vašem izboru
Vanila Puding
3 poširane breskve, prepolovljene



Priprema

Poširane vreskve
Breskve prepolovimo, pa u šerpicu dodamo malo vpde. Stavimo breskve, šećer, vanilu i limunski sok i lagamo krčkamo (oko 10 minuta). Izvadimo i ostavimo da se malo ohlade



Vanila puding

U šerpici umešamo prvo gustin sa malo vode, dok dobijemo glatku masu.
Dodamo ostale sastojke i dobro umutimo
Na laganoj vatri, mešajući dobijemo gustinu koju želimo i ostavimo da se malo ohladi 

Deniš

Predgrejemo rernu na 200 C
Stavimo lisnato testo, koje smo prethodno siekli  na kvadrate na pleh, prekriven pek papirom
Premažemo ivice umućenim jajetom
Usredinu stavimo prvo malo džema, pa vanila puding i onda breskvu.
Pečemo oko 10 minuta

Danish Pastry with peaches





The name says it comes from Denmark That is only partly true. In 1850 , there was massive strike of Danish bakers, which forced bakery owners to get Austrian bakes in.They did not have the recipe for danish pastrym so they invented their own, which till this day is made that way.


Ingredients (Vanilla Custard)
2 egg yolks
100 ml cream
100 ml water
1 tbsp cornstarch
1 tsp vanilla extract
Ingredients (Danish pastry)
2 sheets frozen puff pastry, each sheet cut into 4 squares
3 tbsp jam of your choice
vanilla custard
1 egg, beaten


Create

Poached Peaches

Cut in half , remove stone
Place in little water , with sugar , vanilla and lemon juice .Simmer for about 10 minute. Let it cool a bit


Vanilla Custard
  1. In a sauce pan combine cornstarch and water, mix thoroughly until free of lumps.
  2. Add , cream, vanilla extract and egg yolks, mix evenly.
  3. Place on top of stove using low heat, constantly stirring until it thickens.
Method (Danish Pastry)
  1. Preheat oven for 200C.
  2. Place cut pastries on greased baking pan then brush edges with beaten eggs.
  3. Put a thin layer of vanilla custard  than jam ,on the middle, roughly a spoonful.
  4. Place peach halves on top of the custard.
  5. Place in the oven for 10 minutes.
