Indijski djuveć * Indian inspired rice dish

U letnjim mesecima kuvamo prema onome što imamo u bašti. Ponekad dosta toga zri odjednom pa se u jednom loncu nadje dosta različitog povrža, Tako i ovog puta, paradajz, paprika ,tikvice, patlidžan... dodamo pileće meso i toga imamo od našig kokoški uvek dovoljno. Da bi sve ipak bilo interesantno, velika šansa je d asmo u skorije vreme pravili djuveć , pa smo ovom djuveču dodali malo indijskih zašina , i tako smo ga i nazvali Indijski djuveć. Dakle nikako nije Birizani koji takodje pravimo, jer ima mnogo manje začina, ali ima indijskih klasičnih začina i manje je komplikovano. Ima kao naš djuveć dosta paradajza ,paprike i luka i tako je nastap : Indijski Djuveč


Sastojci

800 g pilećeg mesa bez kostiju
1 veći patlidžan
4 tikvice
3 crvene paprike
4 do 5 malih ili 2 velike crvene čili papričice
2 grančice celera
800 g svežeg paradajza
2 crvena luka , isečena na režnjeve
3 čena belog luka, usitnjenog
1 lorber
1 kašičica karija
1 kašičica kima
1 kačičica kurkume
so i beli biber po ukusu



Priprema

1. Izdinstamo isečen luk, dodamo piletinu, isečenu piletinu, koju smo začinili sa 1 Kašikom  karija, Malo posolimo i pobiberimo.Izvadimo iz tiganja i sipamo u vatrostalnu posudu u kojoj čemo sve zapeći
2. Papriku ,tikvice, patlidžan izdinstamo sa belim lukom, dodamo, kurkumu , lorber, kim i beli luk. Malo posolimo i pobiberimo. I ovo sipamo u vatrostalnu posudu sa lukom i piletinom
3. Uspemo pirinač. koji smo pre toga malo prokuvali, i dodamo čili papričice. Moje su bile male pa sam stavla cele, ako koristite velike, prvo ih iseckajte.

4. Izdinstamo  isečen paradajz , dodamo peršun i uspemo na vrh. Opet malo posoimo i pobiberimo
5. Uspemo vodu da tek pokrije vrh i prekrijemo srebrnom folijom.

6. Pečemo u rerni na 200 stepeni C oko 40 minuta. Poslednjih 10 minuta skinemo foliju da se i vrh zapeče.

Indian inspired Rice dish


In summer months when the garden is fast producing large quantities of vegetables, we naturally trz to use those in our dishes. This time it is aubergine, tomato peppers, chillies, still zuccinni  and chicken meat, because we have our own chicken in the garden. So we create a dish we add different flavors to old known friends. Normally without spices this would be Serbian Djuveč. Ach, you have to spice up your life sometimes

Ingredients

800 g chicken meat without bones
1 large eggplant
4 zucchini
3 red peppers
4 to 5 small or 2 large red chillies
2 sprigs of celery
800 g fresh tomato
2 red onions, thinly sliced
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 bay leaf
1 teaspoon curry powder
1 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon turmeric
salt and white pepper to taste


Create

1. Saute the onion, add the chicken, roast chicken, which we seasoned with 1 tablespoon curry powder, salt and a little pepper.Take from the pan and pour into an ovenproof dish in which we will bake it off
2. Pepper, zucchini, eggplant fry with garlic, add turmeric, bay leaf, cumin . A little salt and pepper. And this is poured into ovenproof dish with onions and chicken
3. We add rice. we have boiled before  add the chili peppers. My were small so I have put the whole, if you use a large, chop them first.
4. Saute sliced tomatoes, add parsley and add at the top. Again, a little salt and pepper
5. We add water to just cover the top and cover with silver foil
6. Bake in the oven at 200 degrees C for about 40 minutes. The last 10 minutes to take off the foil and top browning.
