Kolač sa jogurtom i marakujom - Yogurt cake with passion fruit

Marakuja raste u mojoj bašti..Momentalno još nije sazreal ali dok je bila u sezoni prošle godine,smrzla sam količine koje nismo iskoristili u sezoni.Tako se našla kao sirup,preliv na ovom divnom sočnom kolaču!

Passion Fruit grows in my garden. At the moment new crop not ready yet, but when was in season I froze some of the fruit that we did not use fresh.That  is how this fine ,moist cake came about-

Sastojci

150 g putera
220 g šećera
1 kašičica vanile
3 jaja
1 šolja gustog Grčkog joguta
300 g prosejanog brašna
1 kašičca sode bikarbone
1 kašičica praška za pecivo

Marakuja sirup

1 šolja marakuje
125 ml vode
110 g šećera




Ingredients
  • 150g of butter, softened
  • 220g of caster sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup of thick Greek yoghurt
  • 300g of self raising flour, sifted
  • PASSIONFRUIT SYRUP
  • 1 cup of passionfruit pulp
  • 125ml of water
  • 110 g of caster sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda

Priprema

1.Predgrej rernu na 160 stepeni Celzija
2.Prvo napravimo sirup od marakuje.Kuvamo u šerpici sastojke na srednjoj temperaturi dok ne provri, onda smanjimo i kuvamo 10 do 15 minuta dok se tečnost ne zgusne.Ostavimo da se ohladi


3. Umiksamo šećer puter i vanilu da dobijemo lepu kremastu i bledo žutu smesu.


4.Dodamo jaja ,jedno pa jedno miksajuči u medjuvremenu posle svakog
5.Dodamo jogurt i dobro ga umešamo pre nego što smanjimo brzinu na mikseru i dodamo prosejano brašno,prašak za pecivo i sodu bikarbonu.
6.Sipamo testo u kuglof posudu i pečemo 35 minuta


7.Izvadimo iz pleha i izbodemo svuda sa žicom ili nožem-Prelijemo sirupom od marakuje



Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 160 degrees Celsius
  2. To make the passionfruit syrup, combine the passionfruit pulp, water and sugar in a saucepan over a medium heat. Bring to the boil and then reduce heat to low and cook for 10 to 15 minutes. Set aside while you make the cake.
  3. Combine the butter, sugar and vanilla extract in the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with a paddle attachment and beat until pale and creamy.
  4. Add the eggs to the mixture, one at a time, beating well between each addition.

  1. Add the yoghurt and beat well before switching the mixer to it's lowest speed and combining the flour.
  2. Spoon the mixture into the prepared bundt tin and bake for 35 minutes

  1. Remove the cake from the tin and pierce all over with a  pointy knif ewhile still hot before drizzling the syrup all over.
