Šta napravite kad vam se odjednom prijave neočekivani gosti.Ja obično,naravno probam nesto brzo,zavisi i od toga ko dolazi i šta vole da jedu.Znači ovoga puta za jedan brz ručak smo pravili Losos na tostu.
Mislim, naslov nije da bi vas zavarao, ja zaista najviše volim da jedem Losos na Lososu.Imam sreće da poznajem ovde nekog, ko me snabdeva ovakvim specijalitetima.A bogami imaju i gosti koji dolaze, jer ovo koliko god da je jednostavno, je itekako ukusno
Potrebno je
Lososo, 400 grama od fileta i 200 grama dimljenog lososa
3 limuna
Skoro celo pakovanje od 250 grama krem sira
2 bagete,možete i sami napraviti
Mirodjia ili morač za dekoraciju
Ako pravite svoj hleb evo kako to ja( pošto su gosti blizu ) iznimno spremih testo u mašini.
Ipak sam koristila crno brašno,meni je to ukusnije.Ako dodate po neki svež začin to će hlebu sigurno poboljšati ukus.Ja sam dodala malo korijandera i žalfije
Kada je mašina obavila svoj poslić, napravimo dve poveće bagete i stavimo ih na pleh i u rernu na pečenje.Možete pleh posuti sa malo kukuriznog ili običnog brašna,ili kasnje samo nožem podsečete.
Ovo je pečeno na 200 stepeni Celzija oko 20 minuta
Tost
Iseci svoj hleb na tanje kriške i zapeci ga sa obe strane.Ako si do sad pravio hleb ,nećes da ti sad na kraju zagori.Ovo nije pravo vreme da se popije kafica dok ga u rerni pazimo.Svako neka ga ispeče kako voli.Ja volim da je pečen malo sa obe strane ali ukusan je i kada donju stranu ostavite mekšu,naročito ako je hleb svež
Sada stavite Losos da se peče
Svež Losos stavite na malo ulja da se isprži. Losos je dosta 'masna' riba ,pa vam ne treba velika količina ulja
Sad možemo sve sastaviti.prvo počnemo sa krem sirom .Svaki tost namažemo sve do samog kraja ,dobrom količinom.
Sledeći je Losos.Stavljate male komadiće na svaki tost dok na svaki budete stavili Šta vam ostane dodajte ponovo.
Sada narežite limun na tanke kriške.
Sada jos dodamo sitno iseckanu mirodjiju ili morač i dobijemo ovo
I čašu vina.Prijatno

What do you make when unexpected guest are arriving for lunch ( or beter said arrived if they are unexpected).I try to make something quick and tasty.Depending who has arrived and what they like to eat.And how long they are staying.I love Salmon and this lunch was with Salmon toasties. Although this is very simply it is tasty as.People love these.I am lucky I have a friend that supplies me Salmon.And the title of my post is not misleading.I realy like Salmon on Salmon best.
- Salmon - 400g fresh salmon fillet, or 200g smoked salmon pieces
- 3 lemons
- Most of a 250g pot of cream cheese
- 2 french loaves of bread, or make your own
- Dill or fennel to garnish
If you are making your own bread this is how I did it
If you are going with the fresh bread, make a wholegrain dough according to the directions of your breadmaker. Adding herbs to the bread is always a good thing - I found a good handful of sage and coriander worked a treat.
After the breadmaker has done it's thing, roll the dough into 2 long sausage shapes and place on an oven tray or pizza stone. You can use some polenta or corn flour to prevent the bread from sticking, or just deal with the sticking and knife it off later.
Cook the bread for approx 20 mins at 200 degrees Celsius.
I like to lightly toast both sides, but it's also nice to leave the underside really soft and untoasted, especially when your bread is nice and fresh.
Next up is the salmon - apply a measly piece of salmon to each toastie until you know how far it's going to go, then go back and add a bit more if you have leftovers.
Finally, chop up some fresh dill or fennel and sprinkle across the top of the platter. All done.

Toast the bread
Chop your bread into bite sized pieces and lightly toast each side. If you have spent all day making and rolling your own bread, you DO NOT want to burn the toasties at this stage. Stand there and watch it cook, now is not a good time for a coffee.I like to lightly toast both sides, but it's also nice to leave the underside really soft and untoasted, especially when your bread is nice and fresh.
Cook the Salmon
For fresh salmon, fry the fillets or steaks on both sides until cooked through. You won't need much oil in the pan for this, as the salmon is a particularly oily fish.Add the toppings
First goes the cream cheese. Apply a generous coating of cream cheese to each toastie, spreading right to the edges.Next up is the salmon - apply a measly piece of salmon to each toastie until you know how far it's going to go, then go back and add a bit more if you have leftovers.
The lemon pieces go on next.
Finally, chop up some fresh dill or fennel and sprinkle across the top of the platter. All done.
And the glass of good white wine.Cheers
