Neko mi je poklonio ovaj slow cooker i on obično izlazi iz anonimnosti u zimsko doba..onda kad nam se jede nešto onako pečeno i kuvano .Prednost ove sprave je da se u nju lepo sve spakuje i ona sama natempirana odradi to na najbolje mogući način.Bez obzira što bi moja baka vrtela glavom na to,a možda bi se i odobrovoljila kad bi probala.
Dakle,sastojci su oćigledni na gornjoj slici.Ovako spremljeno pile ima neverovatan ukus,meso se odvaja od kostiju i sa sosom od paradajza na malo pirinča ovo je zaista izvrsno jelo.
Kuvanje će trajati oko 4 sata..pa ja to lepo uključim ujutru i pevam:)
Sastojci
- 2 konzerve celog oljuštenog paardajza
- 4 češnjaka sečenog belog luka
- Rukohvat bosiljka
- 1kašičica suvog korijandera
- 2 crna luka
- 2 - 3 svežih ljutih papričica
- nekoliko grančica svežeg ili sušenog timijanaa
- 6 - 8 pilećih bataka
- 1kašika crvenog vinskog sirćeta
Počnem tako što dinstam beli luk,timijan ,korijander,papričice u malo maslinovog ulja.Pile samo malo propržimo da bi smo mu dali početnu fazu,zatim ga izručimo u lonac.
Dodajte sad iseckan bosiljak i kriške luka.Ja volim velike kriške jer volim rustikalan sos.Dodajte konzerve ili svež paradajz (kod mene ga sada nema u bašti).To sve promešajte..zatvorite poklopac i recite: Vidimo se za 4 sata.

Somebody gifted me this slow cooker which only comes out in the winter.When we crave hearty slow cooked and comforting food. Advantage of a slow cooker is that you can chuck all kind of things in it, turn it on and sit back and relax.My grandma would probably just shake her head and maybe change her opinion after trying the taste.
Ingredients are obvious on the above picture.
Ingredients
- 2 tins whole peeled tomatoes
- 4 cloves of garlic, crushed or sliced
- handful of basil leaves
- 1tsp ground coriander
- 2 onions
- 2 - 3 fresh chilies (optional)
- a few sprigs of fresh thyme, or 1tsp dried thyme
- 6 - 8 chicken drumsticks
- 1tbsp red wine vinegar
The slow-cooked chicken and tomato sauce really makes this dish, it falls off the bone and has a really amazing taste. This slow-cooked meaty sauce on rice makes for a good meal on it's own if you don't want to go to the trouble of making the cannelloni.
Slow-cooking will take 4 hours so get this part of the recipe started in the morning.
Start by sauteing the garlic, thyme, ground coriander and chilies in a little olive oil. After about 1 minute, empty the contents of the pan into the slow-cooker or pot, and add the chicken drumsticks to the fry pan. You don't want to cook the chicken, just lightly brown the outside to give the slow-cooker a head start.
While the chicken is browning, chop the basil and onions and add these to the pot. I like a nice chunky sauce so rough, uneven slices of onion is better than finely diced pieces.
Add the browned chicken to the slow-cooker, and the 2 tins of tomatoes. Give it a good stir to coat the chicken with sauce, then put the lid on the cooker and set the heat according to how much time you have. On my cooker, high heat means about 4 hours, while low heat means 8-10 hours. Your cooker will have it's own way of doing things.

This looks delicious. My slow cooker tends to only come out in winter as well. My MIL (mother in law) also shakes her head at the slow cooker but she always likes the end result!

Odlično ! Ovo je baš za uživanje , volim ovakav ručak. Često radim nešto slično, ali ne kuham toliko dugo. Vjerujem kada se lagano i polako kuha da je time i ukusnije.
